SOCIAL SCIENCES
The main focus of the Social Sciences area is to form citizens aware of the reality they live in, who assume purposes and are agents of change through critical, solidary and respectful reflection of past experiences that are useful in the construction of the present and the future; all this will be reflected in positive actions when participating as builders of citizenship, democracy, historical awareness, care for the environment and social deliberation; valuable contributions to today's society.
ENGLISH
At CCI, from the English area, we work to sensitize our students to the use of English, as well as to promote and put into practice the communicative competencies of English as a foreign language through dialogues, group dynamics, reading-writing, listening and vocabulary activities, which allow us to develop and achieve the goal of having students with language skills, capable of having interactions, expressing ideas and giving answers to comprehension activities in relation to different contexts with the objective of crossing barriers and using English inside as well as outside the classroom.
NATURAL SCIENCE
Within the area of natural sciences three fundamental axes are involved: biology, physics and chemistry. For many it may seem like three subjects of terror, but at Colegio Cristiano Integral we have proposed to develop the sciences from a practical, investigative and contextual approach, pointing out the situations that develop at a national level related to the environment or scientific development.
One of the priorities within the area is to emphasize and promote a culture of environmental care and sustainability, so our school environmental project is developed on recycling and environmental problems found in this area of the central savannah.
Finally, we have developed and continue in the process of recreating experimental and in-depth activities, as this provides the possibility of understanding how knowledge is constructed in the scientific community and allows for a better understanding of the topics seen in class.
ARTS
The objective of Physical Education at Colegio Cristiano Integral is to develop movement skills, enhance physical abilities and motor, axiological and expressive body skills, in order to generate healthy lifestyle habits through contemporary sports activities and physical activity.
On the other hand, the subject of music seeks to highlight learning in motor skills, coordination of movements, rhythmic skills, as well as to increase the memory, attention and concentration capacity of the students of the CCI.
ENGLISH
Colegio Cristiano Integral from the area of Humanities - Spanish aims to develop the communicative skills of reading, writing, listening and oral expression through an integrated process from preschool through eleven, based on the curricular guidelines and the policy of basic standards in the area of humanities. To achieve this objective, we work on strengthening interpretive, argumentative and propositional skills in accordance with the institutional mission and vision, based on a previous analysis of the results obtained in the saber and ICFES tests, seeking a better performance in our students.
MATH
The mathematics department seeks to generate identity in students about the importance of the subject as such and its application in each of the stages of everyday life. We try to impregnate our love for this beautiful science, generating diverse and didactic activities that allow the student to almost smell and taste the topics, concepts and algorithms used daily.
Mathematics is, as Galileo states, the alphabet with which God has written the universe and in this way we intend to give use and context to each of the mathematical standards we perform in class.
RESEARCH
To form ENTREPRENEURIAL PEOPLE (childhood, children, youth and adolescents) with character, autonomous, who have clear service to the community, able to formulate, develop and communicate orally and in writing a research project, based on the concept of teaching for understanding, the contributions of research methodology and Christian orientation, posing Challenges for the benefit of sustainable development and the projection of an INNOVATIVE product-service of answers to problem situations of the environment, FUNDAMENTED in lines of research in favor of the Environment, in the technological, scientific and Social, Allowing the processes of SYNTHESIS in the students with the double degree program in technical areas in systems and accounting. PRE-SCHOOL
The focus of the preschool area is to form competent boys and girls in an integral manner, guided by biblical principles, based on the project "the life of Jesus", through innovative experiences, allowing the development of their creativity, abilities and skills according to their age.
